Fill-R-Up keeps ordinary trip and access data on the device unless you deliberately export/share it or submit a structured community observation/report.
Local browser data
Saved stops, Roadbook notes, route sessions, vehicle information, preferences, observation history, search cache, offline-pack files, and station photos use browser local storage, IndexedDB, and the service-worker cache. The app includes export/import, cache, and clear-local-data controls.
Location
Browser geolocation is requested only after you activate a location control. Coordinates can be sent to mapping, station-search, geocoding, routing, weather, road-reference, and navigation providers when needed for the action you requested.
Community evidence service
The included same-origin PHP service accepts timestamped structured station observations and issue reports. Public observation responses omit the internal client hash and private note text. The service stores a one-way client hash for rate limiting; it does not publish raw IP addresses. Station photos remain local and are not uploaded by the v22 observation workflow.
Third-party providers
OpenStreetMap/Overpass, Open-Meteo, National Weather Service, OSRM, U.S. DOE/NLR alternative-fuel services, ARDOT GIS/iDrive, Apple Maps, and Google Maps may receive requests. Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.
What this build does not claim
It does not claim anonymous networking, end-to-end encrypted accounts, private cloud storage, moderation that does not exist, or guaranteed live price accuracy. Community observations stay visibly distinct from provider facts.
